AN
INVITATION

Sessions Offered:
Afternoons: 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Classes are held in the education room of the church. The facilities are bright and open, allowing each child much freedom of movement and time for exploration and discovery.
During each session children choose from various learning centers:
As a learning ministry of Hope Lutheran Church, the mission of Anchor Nursery School is to provide preschool children with a nurturing Christian environment which aids in the development of independence, cooperation, and feelings of self-worth as children of God's family.
The Anchor Nursery School offers a Kindergarten readiness program with an emphasis on independent growth, self-confidence, and socialization.
By providing a warm, loving atmosphere, our school treats each child individually and helps each child progress at his or her own pace.
Each session includes and opportunity for use of the learning centers. Also included in the program are music, storytelling, informal dramatizations, cooking, arts and crafts projects, and supervised outdoor play in a fenced playground with fixed play items and riding toys.
A daily snack is provided by the school.
Holiday observances are part of the children's learning experience.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION EMPHASIS
Christian concepts appropriate for young children are taught during a special time set aside for Christian Education.
Bible Time introduces children to stories from the Old and New Testaments and includes prayers and songs.
Chapel visits with the pastor are held monthly in the sanctuary for 4 year olds.
